Marc Casadó is considering a change of scenery after a season with few minutes. The homegrown midfielder would become one of the names to watch in FC Barcelona's market starting June 30.

The youth graduate would have told those close to him that he is willing to listen to offers in the coming months, with the idea of choosing the project that fits best to continue his career, according to the SER radio station.

The player would have communicated to his circle his intention to listen to proposals in the next few months, while the club would not force his departure but would recommend an exit to gain prominence. In that scenario, the operation would be a sale with net capital gain, as he is a homegrown player. At Barça he would be among the names that could leave starting June 30.

Last summer he already had options to change scenery but decided to stay. Premier League teams showed interest and, in particular, Chelsea and Wolverhampton inquired about his situation, although Casadó closed that door to compete for minutes, with Marc Bernal still recovering from his injury. His involvement was greater in the early part of the season, but since January he has lost playing time and Hansi Flick even used him as a fullback in the Cup.

After the summer, Casadó also changed agents and started being represented by Jorge Mendes, very close to Joan Laporta and Deco. The agent also manages other cases at the club: Ansu Fati, who could return from Monaco and for whom Barça is looking for a definitive exit, and Alejandro Balde, for whom the club would be willing to listen to offers.

Casadó broke out last season and even became a full international. He has a valuation of 20 million euros and his price would have dropped after this campaign, although the club would only allow him to leave if the offer that arrives is truly interesting.

The midfielder remains in demand in Europe and also has suitors from Saudi Arabia. In the past he has been linked to Atlético, a club that could negotiate with Barça the sale of Julián Álvarez, and Casadó has always said he has fulfilled a dream playing with the Blaugrana first team.
