Carlo Ancelotti is now the new coach of Brazil. Before his departure from Real Madrid has even been announced, the Brazilian federation has officially confirmed the agreement with the Italian coach to take over the position starting this same month of June. Real Madrid would have given the OK for the Brazilian national team to announce his arrival, and in the next few days, the Italian coach's departure from the white team will be officially announced.

Ancelotti will join the Brazil bench after the last league match on May 25 against Celta, as confirmed by the president of the CBF. Carlo's debut on the Brazilian bench will be against Ecuador on June 6, corresponding to Matchday 15 of the South American Qualifiers, while his home debut will be on June 10 in Sao Paulo against Paraguay.
